The cat and I are becoming close friends (well I think so anyway). She's letting me get closer and closer each time and she doesn't run away anymore, although sometimes she takes a wide birth around me - here pussy cat..........

It's a Tough Life!

Sometimes it's hard to stay awake - even for a meal! I just had to have a quick nap between spoonfulls.

5 Month Plunket Visit

Ben was actually closer to 6 months when this happened but we went the other day and he's weighing a health 8.3kgs (that's 18lb something)! The plunket nurse Pip was happy with his growth and developement, he's sitting slightly above average on the growth chart. She was very impressed he can hold and drink from his own sipper cup and said she didn't think it would be long before he would be crawling. He's up on his hands and knees rocking away and I have seen him pull his knees up under himself a couple of times but of course doesn't know what to do from there. At the moment his happy just descovering things in our lounge.
